Kantha quilts are hand-stitched from six layers of vintage Saris in Bangladesh by women who have been rescued from the sex trade or have just been living in the streets. The name "Kantha" comes from the traditional stitch used in making these one-of-a-kind designs. Depending on experience, it takes approximately three days to make one quilt.
